Their laughter, their directness, making things with them. Understanding how to engage with and support their days
Supporting children and staff and empowering families , learning developing and having fun
Most of the time , but when I am overwhelmed by the needs of the centre I can get impatient and less child centred
Environment: outdoors is child centred but not enough autonomy Indoors the children are not being held and given enough options and opportunities to gather so we don’t have enough unity and connectiveness
Materials not enough modelling
Procedures not enough , too much focus on staff needs who struggle with change - various clashes and suspicions
Not enough it feels like a box of frogs and we ar won’t a group
I feel that my practice is froebelian I am all about connections, relationships, autonomy and respecting and benefiting from being outside
Social justice and equity allows me to advocate for children and families and staff
That my voice can be heard over the hierarchy and fear and my own self limitations
Finding the time to discuss what is important getting beyond cynicism
