Being a part of how the children grow's and develop while with us.
Providing the children with opportunities for PLAY-messy, exploring, investigating.
Building up that relationship with our families.
Management and leadership of the nursery.
I would like to say all day and everyday however, I know that this is not always the case/possible within the nursery day.
We do use the floor book approach and have a strong belief embedded that children are leaders of their own learning as we have observed their interest or schema's.
Observing the children assists us with the changes, developments, opportunities we scaffold for the children.
Staff having an understanding of how/when to react to a child's interest, needs and then including them within the process of change. We value children in leading their own leaning, we include children in planning and evaluating their learning, environment next steps through Floor books.
Making our environment natural, and providing the children with 'realness' throughout their experiences-touching the plants and flowers, going on the walks to explore the outdoors, using the reals foods during role play etc.
Supporting staff and encouraging an ethos within the nursery that is inspired by the Froebellian principles.
Building sense of community within the nursery, knowing our children and families and welcoming them into the nursery.
To keep building on my Froebelian knowledge- everyday is a learning day....
My staff team! Communication.
Working within an environment were we all have a passion for what we do daily and do it to the best of our abilities.
