How I view my practice at the start of my current training

This practitioner has not chosen to share this information at this time.

I enjoy experiencing the wonder and amazement while viewing the world through the children's eyes.

As an EYO I’m there to support the children to develop their learning following their current interests, using current legislation and policies for support.

Everyday. Following the children's lead on what they would like to investigate and discover.

Our environment is easily accessed by the children and they are able to take lead on their learning. Most materials are available for them to access as they wish, with only some such as slime/play dough ingredients needing adult support.
Our procedures are aimed to be child centered and we we follow these for guidance.

Children shape my day to day role by following their lead. They support to change and shape the environment, as we change it to suit their learning interests and following their learning,

I believe Froebel has aligned with my thinking and passion for the outdoor play and the discovery of nature through the children's eyes. I would like to take forward relationships within the community based on his inspiration.

Each day I work to ensure equity and equality, supported by GIRFEC, ensuring every child is treated as an individual and their learning is theirs.

A deeper understanding for froebelian practice, allowing me to support the children further with their learning.
As well as to support my colleagues and work with them to improve my settings froebelian journey.

Collaboration and learning between colleagues within the setting and further afield.
