I started my Froebelian journey in 2020. My main Froebelian interests lie in nature and gardening as I pursued this path for my previous project. I am looking forward to having the opportunity to enhance my Froebelian knowledge over the next 8 months

What I enjoy about working with young children

I enjoy supporting the child's holistic development, I especially enjoy listening to their voice and ensuring a sense of value within the nursery. Observing the progression of their learning is one of the most rewarding aspects of this role. I appreciate children as leaders of their own learning and how they share their knowledge with us as we learn together.

How I would describe my role now (is it changing as result of my training?)

As a result of this training I am more inclined to think of the Froebelian perspective and principles before acting. Carrying out this project has supported many of the Froebelian principles in becoming part of my standard practice.
