Becomings
– Changes to my thinking or practice which are emerging as a result of my current training –
This practitioner has not chosen to share this information at this time.
It is a unique job where no two days are the same and I often find myself learning facts alongside the children as we explore interests.
I would still describe myself as a jack of all trades but maybe take an extra step back and give the time needed for meaningful reflections
In relation to my project I value my observations and other practitioner observations more. It is an everyday event but we often forget how meaningful reflective observations are as they have an impact in how we support the child within the nursery.
We need to spend more time getting the childrens voice not just listening to what they say but also observing to see what they do or even do not do to get a full picture of the child.
Looking forward to continuing my Froebel practice especially in relation to continuing to develop practices in the nursery
The support and encouragement from others and I have found these people in my workplace and within my Froebel courses. Sometimes it just knowing someone is there, if needed, is enough.
