I feel strongly about developing creativity, opportunities to problem solve and extend possibility thinking. I have enjoyed supporting staff and children to develop an outdoor area with a Froebelian Approach to the learning opportunities it provides.

Beginnings

How I view my practice at the start of my current training

This practitioner has not chosen to share this information at this time.

I love the endless possibilities and excitement children bring to experiences. I love to support them to make connections and watch how they transfer knowledge from one situation to the other. I love the fun, laughter and silliness that can take over a conversation and brighten the room. I love the trust they put in us and the smiles we see on their faces when they come in. I love to see them leave confident and ready to continue on their journey and know I have played a part in it. We have the best job!

When I look back at my practice in Early Years, I discovered that much of what I do and have done is Froebelian, I just did not know it. I have thoroughly enjoyed my learning so far and I am working towards changing thinking, encouraging research and guiding staff to readings and webinars that will support change.
